God not glorified by forum on 'cosmic optimism'

If you want to empty the pews of United Methodist churches even further, then invite these scientist/theologians to come preach, and continue to have them train the next generation of church pastors.
After reading this article, I had an empty feeling in my (impossible to prove) soul that God had not been glorified by this forum.
Their explanations about the origin and nature of the universe and life are very weak statements of faith. I get closer to taking my 'cosmic optimism' elsewhere as the United Methodist Church moves further away from its biblical foundation.
